Below are the most common questions we are asked, if you have any further queries please visit our contact page, or call us on 01636 642912

Our first meeting with you will be a free, no obligation, meeting designed for us to find out more about your business and your HR requirements.

This could include a comprehensive check of your understanding and use of HR procedures and employment legislation. You will receive a copy of the check list, outlining any areas which could or should be improved.

This is a valuable tool for any organisation and won’t cost you a penny! Contact us to find out more.

You can do either, we will agree the best package for your needs at the time.  That could range from a ‘pay as you go’ option to a fully outsourced HR department package.

See the full range of options here. Or get in touch to discuss things further.

“We find Jane to be very professional and the flexibility that the company offers means that we only need to purchase the time and expertise when it is required. This will obviously be of great benefit to small businesses in keeping overheads down as the flexibility enables the support and advice offered to be on an as required basis, similar to a pay as you go”

There are a couple of good reasons. The first is because we will know you and know something about your company through having carried out your free health check. That will tend to lead to a better, more personal advice, particularly because you will be dealing with the same 2-3 people every time you contact us.

The other is that, because we are local, if a problem would be better dealt with by a face to face meeting or practical support, we can be there.

Yes, we partner with an excellent Occupational Health provider. We can either put you in touch directly or we can provide the service as a one stop shop through Camino HR Ltd.
This is a specialist area so we provide Health and Safety support through Associates. We can either put you in touch directly or we can provide the service as a one stop shop through Camino HR Ltd.

Yes, we specialise in helping you to understand how employment legislation affects you and how to manage your human resource within the boundaries of employment legislation.

We are pragmatic in our approach and will always clearly explain your options, best practice and the risks associated with not using best practice.

We will give you the level of support that you need, whether it is guidance over the phone, drafting or checking correspondence, coaching your managers in how to handle a situation or attending meetings with you if required.

We believe firmly that the cause of many problems in businesses is the use of standard documents which don’t necessarily suit the size, nature and culture of the business.

So we will provide you with documents which suit your particular needs and which have been fully discussed with you. Camino clients have access to their tailor made documents directly from this website via our secure ‘login’ facility.

Our free health check will outline any areas where you may be at risk, including missing or out of date HR documents so why not get in touch to see how we can help?

Yes, if that is part of the package that we have agreed. We will also keep your documents updated.

All major changes and updates are posted on the ‘News’ section of this website, and you can also sign up to our RSS feed to get all the latest info directly.

Yes, we will always advise you to let us provide training to your managers/team leaders/supervisory staff in any new policy or procedure which we agree with you.

We provide specific training in the following:

  • Managing Performance (including appraisal)
  • Managing Absence

Yes, this is another of our specialist areas. We can help you from the drawing up of a requirements specification, to the choice of vendor, to the full project management of the implementation if you require it.

“In implementing a new HRIS system (firstly in the UK and Germany but with the capability to go worldwide), Jane has helped us very early in the stages of system design, and quickly became the key focal point for both the HR and IT teams. Her project management skills were impeccable, and eye for detail important in the early exchanges with our chosen provider, and we are certain that she saved us a considerable amount of money in this period (and on-going)”

We do not provide a payroll service but we can put you in touch with payroll providers and can support you to manage your payroll input.

Yes, we can help with all your recruitment, from a single vacancy to major recruitment projects. We can also train your staff in interview skills and in writing meaningful job descriptions.

Yes, if that is what you would like to happen. Not all organisations want this facility.

We don’t provide it as part of our standard package because the majority of our clients don’t require it and we pride ourselves on helping you to avoid tribunals.

However, if you would like to pay the insurance premium, we have negotiated an arrangement with an excellent local solicitors, Fraser Brown of Nottingham, that will cover you for all tribunal costs – so long as you have taken advice from Camino HR in handling the matter. This includes representation at tribunal by an employment lawyer.

Please let us know via our Contact Us page where you will also find our telephone number and email address.
